Happy Birthday Paul. I’ve written you a letter for your birthday. I want to thank you for your beautiful music; it means much more to me than I’ll ever be able to explain. You’re a beautiful person and I will always wish you the best.
Six year old Lorin Andrien takes a nap with his head buried into the jersey bull calf owned by his sister. He is taking a rest before the opening of the Pennsylvania Farm Show, 1973.
I had a pet calf growing up. We named him Babe, after Paul Bunion’s giant cow, but we all called him Baby. We all would take turns bottle feeding him, and at the beginning he was so tiny I could pick him up if I wrapped my arms around his neck and hind side. My Baby grew to be strong bull. :)
